UH Clear Lake

An academic and community resource for more than a quarter century, University of Houston-Clear Lake specializes in upper-level undergraduate and graduate degree programs to meet the higher education needs of the Houston-Galveston area, communities along the upper Gulf Coast of Texas, and beyond. UH-Clear Lake is a dynamic learning community offering a vast array of programs, opportunities and services geared toward helping individuals and families achieve their educational, professional and personal goals.

Extensive class offerings and programs attract more than 7,700 students to UHCL during the fall and spring semesters, with nearly half of those students enrolled in graduate study. Since opening its doors in 1974, the university has awarded more than 38,000 degrees to a diverse student population from the state, nation and abroad. UHCL graduates pursue a broad range of opportunities, including careers as astronauts, artists, authors, educators and business leaders.

UHCL emphasizes high academic standards through teaching, research and community service, and delivers educational opportunities via new instructional technologies and distance learning. The Schools of Business, Education, Human Sciences and Humanities, and Science and Computer Engineering offer bachelor’s degrees in more than 30 fields of study and master’s degrees in more than 40 fields of study.

A partnership-oriented, community-minded institution, UHCL actively collaborates with businesses, organizations, schools and individuals to enhance the region’s educational, economic, cultural, scientific, engineering and professional environment. Community involvement reaches into the global arena as well through international partnerships, which foster educational and cross-cultural exchanges among faculty and students.

UHCL is located at the heart of Clear Lake’s high-tech community adjacent to NASA Johnson Space Center and minutes from downtown Houston and Galveston Island.

Enviro-Grid was used on this project, and we were happy to offer a value alternate for this educational institution.
